There are thousands of supplementary schools in the UK, and the August edition of Museum Practice will look at the opportunities for museums to work with their teachers and pupils.

The articles and case studies will share best practice advice on developing and maintaining relationships with supplementary schools, and will explore how this area of work can contribute towards audience development and providing access to different communities.

Museums and other organisations are invited to submit their own case studies, sharing their experiences and advice.

Case studies should be no more than 250 words and accompanied by a landscape photograph. For tips and advice, read this guide to writing a Museum Practice case study.

Please email case studies by 30 July to
