The August edition of Museum Practice (MP) will explore the issue of decolonising museum collections.

The articles will discuss the importance of decolonising, alongside practical advice on working with catalogues and archives, how to put them in social, political and global context, and concrete ways in which museums can change their working practices to reflect these developments.

Museums are invited to share their own experiences of decolonising by submitting a case study.

Case studies should be about 400 words long and accompanied by photographs.

For tips and advice, read this guide to writing an MP case study.

Please email your case studies by 1 July to practice@museumsassociation.org
