Object Description

Signed aircraft photo; miscellaneous black and white photos of aircraft. Various newspapers and articles with aviation-related stories; folder containing airmail comprising 2 first day covers dated 29 May 1984, damaged photo of three people in front of British Airways Viscount for same, 2 Alaskan postcards, Canadian stamp, and three PoW letters to Miss May Hanson in Leeds. SEAC newspaper 1946, Daily Mirror 1946 and The Observer 1945; Daily Mail publication ‘Golden Jubilee of Flying’ 1903 – 1953; First day cover commemorating the 75th anniversary of the 1909 Doncaster Aviation Contest.
