Object Description
The Derek Williams Trust has decided to deaccession the Derek Williams Trust Display Cabinet due to ongoing maintenance issues and expenditure. The cabinet is by furniture designer Nicholas Pryke, crafted in walnut, sycamore and stainless steel (140 x 216.6 x 125 cm). It houses up to 17 works on paper in mounts of various sizes in 17 separate vertically pull-out drawers.
In consultation with Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales, the Derek Williams Trust would like to offer the cabinet to other museums and heritage organisations in the UK as a gift. In order to get the cabinet up to a full-working order it will require repairs at a cost to the recipient.
