Object Description
The furnace is 5.6m long, 3.93m wide and weighs 22 tons. The furnace has been under our custodianship since 2017, with no known legal ownership and remains in the car park of Stourbridge Glass Museum. The furnace was found in Cannock Chase in 1992 and sent to the now closed Broadfield House before moving to Stourbridge Glass Museum where it has remained under tarpaulin in the car park since 2017.
