Object Description
Amphibious vehicle (DUKW) Number plate 12 RN 29.
It appears to date to the 1942-1945 building programme, in US service during the Second World War, and French service in the 1960s-1980s.
Purchased by the Royal Marines in the early 1990s to support the work of 11 ATTSRM, in service there until 2012.
Heavily restored to reflect US service colours WW2, and used as film and event prop relating to D-Day. Corrosion evident in areas.
Comes with associated headset, rudder and tools.
