Follow this event at #MANorthernIreland

Member's Meetings give Museums Association members the chance to hear about the work of the MA and to network with staff and colleagues from museums, galleries and heritage sites.

Come and hear about the MA’s policy aims, the funding we offer and how we can help support your advocacy work. There is also the chance to find out how the MA’s workforce offer can develop your career.

You will also get the chance to discuss the challenges facing museums, galleries and heritage sites in your area.

Paddy Gilmore, Head of Programmes, National Museums Northern Ireland/Museums Association board member

Sharon Heal, Director, Museums Association

MA members’ meetings are open to all individual, institutional and corporate members and are an excellent way of connecting with people and places.

Includes drinks, networking and a chance to see the museum.

Museums Change Lives

After the event the Museums Association is holding one of the launches for its new Museums Change Lives publication. All delegates are welcome to attend. This new publication is being launched at events throughout the UK in 2017.

Museums Change Lives is the MA’s flagship campaign to enhance the positive social impact that museums can deliver working with their communities. The new publication features case studies from a range of museums demonstrating the difference they are making and advocates the value of museums to society.
