A well-used, modern dulcimer which was one of the objects in our Music Gallery Hands On Space. With minimal repair work, it would be a most satisfactory instrument for supervised use by school-aged children. The surfaces of the wooden body are now very worn but the instrument still makes a good sound. It is very stable but requires occasional tuning using a tuning machine or mobile phone app. A tuning hammer can be supplied and also suggestions for a repairer.
