Washstand cabinet, 1780s, neo-classical style in mahogany with satinwood and ebony inlay. On the top of the washstand is a sunburst motif and at the corners are quarter sunbursts with two lines of semi-circular stringing. The cabinet has two drawers with two doors beneath and a lid which opens on brass hinges. The centre of the washstand cabinet has a central hole for placing a washing bowl and the cabinet stands on four tapering feet.
