Emergency Mentoring

A safe space to talk about your professional practice

As the museum sector addresses the challenges of 2020 and beyond, we’ve launched a new mentoring programme to give our members an opportunity to explore any professional issues that the current crisis has brought.

The Emergency Mentoring programme is open to anyone in any role in the sector who is an individual member of the MA. Following feedback from our popular Essential and Leadership Mentoring programmes, we’ve extended mentoring session times to 1.5 hours.

Our workforce development officer, Tamsin Russell says: “Following the extremely successful Leadership and Essential Mentoring programmes earlier this year we are launching another opportunity to engage with museum professionals.

“We have extended the session to 1.5 hours based on feedback and have expanded our list with new mentors being involved. If you want a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to talk about your professional practice at this point in time then sign up to our Emergency Mentoring Programme.”

This mentoring opportunity will be available until the end of February 2021.

To register an interest, please email Tamsin Russell at tamsin@museumsassociation.org with your membership number and any reflections you have on what you would like to explore in the session.
