Natural science collections in a changing world

At a time of unchecked global biodiversity loss and environmental degradation, natural science collections offer major opportunities to support the conservation of global biodiversity.

UK museums are hyper-rich in collections of a global nature, and all museums have the power and potential to engage their publics with contemporary environmental issues and to enable them to have greater confidence in tackling a wide range of environmental and sustainability-related themes.

This session from our Conference & Exhibition in Brighton in 2019 investigates ways that museums with natural science collections can work together to support nature conservation more effectively, and address contemporary questions relating to biodiversity and environmental change.
