In response to high demand the deadline for the pre-publication rate for the Museums & Galleries Yearbook has been extended. Please ensure you order your copy by Monday 6 February to receive this discounted rate.

The Museums & Galleries Yearbook is the essential directory for the sector. It consists of a print publication and online Find a museum database containing over 2,600 museums, galleries and heritage sites, 200 related organisations, and 50 course providers across the UK.

Find a museum also contains over 13,000 staff across the departments of museums, galleries and heritage sites, allowing subscribers to search by collection type, job title, services offered, geographical area, research, admission and attendance figures, and facilities and access information.

As well as individual subscription the MA is also offering organisation-wide subscription for all staff at subscribed organisations.

Will Adams, the MA’s head of marketing, said: “It’s an amazing resource that allows you to pinpoint exactly the contacts that you need. The Find a museum search will let you find, as an example, contact details for all the curators in the north west of England at museums with science collections.

“Also new this year for organisations is the organisational subscription which gives you five hard copies of the printed edition and online access for every member of staff at your organisation.

“We would urge anyone interested to purchase subscription at the special pre-publication rate before 6 February.”
