Associateship of the Museums Association proves popular in difficult times
Over 120 people have booked onto the AMA in the past year, nearly double the bookings of previous years, with 105 people attending professional review in 2010.

Charlotte Holmes, the MA’s museum development officer, said: “Despite the financial crisis people are still investing in their professional development.

“To our members we would say that it is more important than ever to make sure that you continue to develop your skills in these tough times. We need dedicated and skilled staff to succeed as a sector in the future.”

The MA is currently looking to build its team of mentors and professional reviewers, and is offering free mentoring training to anyone interested.
