Traci Dix-Williams has been appointed the chief executive of the Dudley Canal & Tunnel Trust following Nick Morris’s retirement. Dix-Williams is currently the operations director for the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust in Shropshire. She begins her new role in April.

Richard Mason has been appointed chairman of the board of trustees of the Olive Matthews Collection, which is housed at Chertsey Museum in Surrey. Tim Hardesty and Janet Wood have also been appointed trustees.

Ian Simmons, formerly the science communication director at The Centre for Life, Newcastle, has set up Science Centres International, a consultancy specialising in hands-on exhibitions, maker activities and events for museums and science centres.

Gina Koutsika has left her role as the head of national and international learning and engagement at the Imperial War Museum, London, to become the head of visitor programmes, exhibitions and commercial events at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, in London.

Natasha McEnroe has been appointed as the keeper of medicine at the Science Museum, London. She was previously the director of the Florence Nightingale Museum at St Thomas’ Hospital, London.

Naomi Roberts has left her role as PR and media manager at the Hepworth Wakefield to become the national press officer for the North East at the Canal & River Trust, based in Leeds.

Stagetext, the captioning and subtitling charity for the arts and cultural sectors, has announced Jonathan Hassell as the new chair of its board of trustees. He replaces Richard Lee, who has stepped down after six years in the role.
