About Museum Practice
Museum Practice (MP) was first launched 15 years ago to provide up-to-date examples of new developments and innovations in museums and galleries, from the latest technology to new ways of interpreting objects and storing collections.
A lot has changed since then, but the need to share information across institutions is just as pressing - and the internet is increasingly the preferred way to do this.
While still providing the usual in-depth analysis, MP online is more accessible and interactive. Each month, MP examines a different area of museum practice, with opportunities for readers to contribute case studies and share best practice.
You can continue to find past issues of MP online - simply use the archive search tool in the left-hand column or browse on the Previous Issues page.
You can also comment on different areas of museum practice in the Have Your Say section and submit your own case studies in the Your Case Studies page.
The 2011 Museums Association's Conference & Exhibition in Brighton included a free programme of MP Seminars. A selection of these presentations are now online - click here for more.
MP is free for members of the Museums Association, but non-members can still subscribe - click here to find out more.
