Diversify trainees and bursary students will receive support from their host museums or training provider. To enable participants to get the most out of their training, the Museum Association offers Diversify trainees:

- a professional development package
- a mentoring scheme
- review days and networking opportunities.

Professional development package

We have put together a professional development package, where host museums can sign up for affiliate member status for their trainee.

Affiliate membership entitles the trainee to take advantage of range of significant benefits including mentoring, free attendance at the MA's annual conference and one day events, and at events and training opportunities designed specifically for Diversify members.

The package also offers free registration for Associateship of the Museums Association (AMA).

Mentoring

Diversify offers trainees a mentor from outside the host museum who has been through Diversify themselves. We have held mentoring workshops to publicise the scheme and to recruit mentors and mentees.

Review days & networks

Diversify review days are held twice a year and offer trainees an excellent chance to network with other Diversify participants as well as providing programmed training and development opportunities.

Informal local Diversify networks have been established and the MA is currently working with participants to set-up regional Diversify networks.

Training and development

We offer a range of training and development opportunities including key skills workshops and 'essentials' training throughout the year.
