Write letters to all the candidates, congratulating the new MP and commiserating with the defeated opponents.

Keep contacts live:

· Invite the successful candidate back to enjoy the museum at its best.

· Keep them informed, but try not to inundate them with brochures and reports.

If a defeated candidate has been interested in your museum, keep them in touch with your work. Invitations to exhibition openings, events or educational projects should sustain their interest.
