Conference 2010: we want your ideas
Maurice Davies, the MA's deputy director, is calling for ideas for sessions and events at next year's Museums Association Conference and Exhibition, which takes place from 4-6 October 2010 in Manchester...
The success of conference is based on the brilliant session and events organised by people and groups from throughout the museum sector.
If you, or your organisation, would like to suggest a session or event at conference 2010 please get in touch. You might want to organise a session yourself, on behalf of a museum or group of museums, or with a specialist group, regional federation or subject specialist network
All you need to do now is send an email that outlines:

- Who from the museum sector you'd like to get together (for example, people doing particular jobs, or with a particular specialism - or everyone)
- What subjects, issues, knowledge or skills you'd like them to learn, discuss, explore or understand (or you might just want to create the opportunity for them to network)
- And if you have any ideas about how you'd like to do the session or event and any ideas for participants, panellists, chairs or speakers include that - but it's not essential at this stage
