Disposal: available objects
|
Following the launch of the disposal toolkit in February 2008, Effective Collections will develop a web listing service for objects that are available as disposals or loans.
Museums will be able to use this part of the website to complete a simple form online to post information about available objects, giving you control over what information you offer, including the potential to add images.
Summary information from each listing will be visible to anyone viewing the site, but users will have to log in to access full details and contact information.
Museums will also be able to use the form to register an interest in disposing or acquiring, lending or borrowing within a particular subject area and Effective Collections brokers will then be able to use this information to develop loans and acquisitions.
